Water cannon and riot police on horseback have been used against about 1,000 people protesting outside the Turkish consulate in Rotterdam overnight. The protests came as two Turkish ministers were blocked from addressing Turkish expatriates in the Netherlands on Saturday about a constitutional referrendum in Turkey giving more powers to the Turkish president.
