Canadian caver rescued, in hospital after 'textbook' rescue

A Canadian caver was rescued last night after slipping about 50 metres and then falling 10 metres while abseiling down Harwood Hole on Takaka Hill. She was flown by helicopter to Nelson Hospital with injuries to her back, leg and arm. The rescue was described at 'textbook'.
