Junior doctors are planning another 48-hour strike this month after rejecting an offer to settle their row over rosters.

Up to 2,500 junior doctors walked off the job at all public hospitals last month.

Yesterday the District Health Boards, which employ the doctors, made what they describe as a 'world leading' offer to settle the dispute.

But it was rejected after the Resident Doctors Association called it "seriously deficient".
