Thousands wait for eye appointments at Counties Manukau DHB

Figures released by Counties Manukau DHB show patient numbers in ophthalmology have risen 126 percent in 8 years. 4,900 patients str waiting for follow-up eye appointments, and 1,531 are waiting for first appointments.
