Convoy co-organiser has returned south to collect more protesters
One of the South Island organisers of the protest at parliament said he was disgusted with what he said is police violently arresting people.
He's gone back to Invercargill to bring a second convoy up to parliament.
More than 50 people have currently been arrested at the scene.
Co-organiser Derek Broomhall said they are going to keep their presence at Parliament and keep demonstrating until the mandates are dropped.
He spoke to Māni Dunlop.
