Ministers will today consider Auckland's Covid-19 restrictions, and whether they'll introduce any new freedoms before Tāmaki Makaurau moves to the Traffic Light system.
At the current setting -- Alert Level 3, Step 2 -- retail, schools, and public venues are allowed to open with tight restrictions.
But if the city were to shift to to Level 3, Step 3: indoor dining, events, and social gatherings could go ahead with a limit of 50 people and physical distancing, while hairdressers, barbers and beauty salons could also reopen.
