Pacific Islanders concerned about widespread corruption

From Midday Report, 12:15 pm on 16 November 2021

Transparency International has found a third of people in some Pacific Island countries are paying bribes to receive public services -- such as healthcare, police, or education.

In a survey of 6000 people across 10 Pacific countries, the organisation found many believe corruption is a big problem for their governments and in the business sector.

Transparency International Pacific advisor Mariam Mathew talks to Max Towle about the results.
