Niuean language week: 'May the Niuean people thrive'

It's Niuean language week in Aotearoa, and the theme is 'May the Niuean people thrive' - Kia Tupuolaola e Moui he Tagata Niue . 

The Auckland War Memorial Museum hosted an online showcase to celebrate the island nation's history, culture, and activism.

Ioane Aleke Fa'avae is an expert in the Niuean language and he spoke with Māni Dunlop.
