Pacific countries need more help dealing with climate change

New Zealand is committing $1.3 billion over four years to support countries most vulnerable to climate change - at least half of that money will go to the Pacific.

The announcement comes ahead of the UN's Climate Change Conference in Glasgow, which begins at the end of October.

Dr Luke Harrington is a Senior Research Fellow at the New Zealand Climate Change Research Institute tells Māni Dunlop it's a good start, but not enough.
