New Zealanders desperate to get home by Christmas have been getting good or bad news in the last-hour or so after nearly four-thousand spots opened in the MIQ virtual lobby.
Users were able to enter the lobby from 11am and results have been released gradually since midday for places in managed isolation and quarantine rooms.
Today's release is the third round of the contentious new system and the is first opportunity for people to book a spot at home in January.
