From Midday Report, 12:46 pm on 16 September 2021

Equestrian New Zealand is disappointed by the actions of a rider who allegedly flouted lockdown rules to travel to Wānaka.

William Willis, along with his partner Hannah Rawnsley, were named as the couple accused of using their essential worker exemption to cross Auckland's border.

Willis, an accomplished equestrian, has previously represented New Zealand on the international stage.
