The National Party is calling for the government to release a long-awaited report on Oranga Tamariki.
The Minister for Children Kelvin Davis appointed a four person panel earlier this year to provide him with independent advice.
Their report was originally due by the end of June.
National's Children and Oranga Tamariki spokesperson Harete Hipango told Māni Dunlop the delays aren't good enough.
The Children's Minister said, "The Ministerial Advisory Board’s report will be released shortly. I’m excited for its release and to share with everyone the Government’s response and vision for the protection and care of our children".
"We know change is needed and I believe this will provide it. I look forward to sharing more in the coming weeks," he said in a statement.
