At 4pm today, the government will announce whether the Covid-19 Alert levels will be changing for everywhere outside of Auckland. Tāmaki Makaurau is still at Alert Level 4 but the rest of the country is at Alert Level 3. The outbreak stands at 721 cases, the majority are in Auckland, but just over a dozen are in Wellington. Māni Dunlop spoke to Auckland University physics lecturer Dr Dion O'Neal.
