Afghanistan's capital Kabul has fallen to the Taliban. There are grave fears for the safety of all people, including New Zealanders stuck in Afghanistan. Former Labour Party MP Chris Carter led the United Nations Development Programme's work in strengthening local Government in Afghanistan for four years from 2011. He's trying to get New Zealanders out of the country where reprisal killings are feared for those who worked for foreigners or the Afghan Government. He speaks to Māni Dunlop.
