It's time to stop hitting the snooze button and start drastic cuts to carbon emissions, say climate scientists. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has issued what it calls a 'code red' warning that global warming is unfolding more quickly than feared, and humanity is almost entirely to blame. Māni Dunlop spoke to Dr Naomi Simmonds - who works extensively with Māori communities around geography and environmental planning and is the Kaitakawaenga for Deep South Challange, about the IPCC's code red warning.
