Samoa's new government is abandoning a port development project backed by China, despite it being championed by the Pacific country's former leaders. The $140 million project would have nearly doubled Samoa's debt to China which is already its largest external creditor. The Director of the Lowy Institute's Pacific Islands program Jonathan Pryke speaks to Māni Dunlop.
