Te Tiriti and Māori must be at forefront of housing inquiry
An independent Māori Housing body says Te Tiriti and Māori must be at the forefront of a national inquiry into the housing crisis. The Human Rights Commission has launched the inquiry, saying successive governments have failed to give New Zealanders decent homes. It has published guidelines today to clarify what the right to a decent home means in Aotearoa. Te Matapihi's general manager Wayne Knox speaks to Māni Dunlop.
