Rural Labour MP responds to farmers' criticisms

Farming communities are unhappy with the rules, regulations and policies being developed in Wellington -- and the pace at which they are being implemented. Many want the reforms wound back. Labour MP Kieran McAnulty represents Wairarapa and comes from a farming background. He tells Māni Dunlop moving to more sustainable farming is essential if NZ agriculture is to retain its good reputation overseas -- and in return growers can demand higher prices.
