Fiji's deadly Covid-19 pandemic continues to break records. Yesterday, it reported a new high of 873 new cases in a 24-hour period. There are 9310 active cases in isolation, and 58 people have died due to COVID-19. St John New Zealand is preparing a supply of aid to send next week, including four emergency vehicles and a range of personal protective equipment, including funds for oxygen cylinders and 2,000 masks and gowns. St John New Zealand's national operations manager of ambulance volunteering James Stewart is handling the logistics.
