Fijian community leaders demand accountability
Fijian community leaders are joining together to demand accountability from the government. Yesterday, the country announced a new record of 431 new Covid-19 cases along with two deaths. The government says it will not be pressured into enforcing a national lockdown. The Foundation for Rural Integrated Enterprises & Development founder Sashi Kiran told Māni Dunlop her group is having to feed more and more people, and it felt like the government's aiming for herd immunity by letting everyone get sick.
