NZ's childcare 33rd in developed world

New Zealand's childcare is among the most expensive in the developed world, according to a new report just released by UNICEF. It compares 41 OECD and EU countries on affordability, access, quality of childcare and paid parental leave. Aotearoa ranks 33rd overall. Luxembourg, Iceland and Sweden top the list - while Cyprus, the United States and Slovakia are at the bottom. UNICEF New Zealand's chief executive Michelle Sharp speaks to Perlina Lau.
