Improvements needed at MIQ facilities

An independent review of the country's MIQ facilities has identified how the system can work better as the pandemic rages on. The 66-page report - commissioned by the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment - identified 82 recommendations, eight of which are 'high priority'. It found while an "extraordinary collaborative effort" was made to set up managed isolation facilities under urgency last year - there are lessons to be learned.
