Waitangi National Trust considering whether women can speak on paepae

From Midday Report, 12:43 pm on 14 June 2021

The Waitangi National Trust is working towards a decision on whether women can speak on the paepae at Waitangi next year. Earlier this year, National's leader Judith Collins was not allowed to speak there, and her deputy, Shane Reti, who is of Ngāpuhi and Ngāti Hine descent, issued a challenge to make it fair for all women. Max Towle speaks to RNZ's Māori News Director (and the programme's usual host) Māni Dunlop.
