Hundreds have arrived in Kaikohe in opposition to the land plans in Te Tai Tokerau. The marchers are opposing Significant Natural Area designations, which they say amount to a land grab. A group started at the top of the North Island yesterday and has made its way down Te Hiku arriving at the Council's office in Kaikohe. The Far North District Council has paused the process.
