Otago's Blind Mice walk the trails by sound

From Midday Report, 12:46 pm on 10 June 2021

It's the sounds - rather than the sights - of New Zealand's great outdoors which motivate the Blind Mice to walk the trails of Otago. This is a group of blind and partially sighted walkers hailing from the South Otago Community arm of Blind Low Vision New Zealand. And they aren't afraid to take on some long and challenging terrain when they meet on the first Wednesday of each month. Blind Mice organiser Doug Keen tells Max Towle how the group was established five years ago.
