Fiji's Covid-19 outbreak spiralling out of control

A Covid-19 outbreak in Fiji appears to be spiralling out of control, with 147 cases confirmed in the last two days alone. The country's main hospital is effectively sealed off, after a cluster formed there, with Suva's emergency department now operating from a field hospital at a stadium. Fiji's permanent secretary of health Dr James Fong says the 'serious developments' are impacting authorities' ability to respond.
