Ashburton bridge opens for heavy trucks

The Ashburton bridge has opened for more vehicles, including trucks weighing up to 50 tonnes. Council officials throughout Canterbury are assessing flood-damaged buildings as some people wait to find out if they go home. RNZ reporter Eleisha Foon speaks to Max Towle from Ashburton
