Truckies fear losing out to rail with funding shakeup

From Midday Report, 12:16 pm on 6 May 2021

A group lobbying for the trucking industry is dismayed the government's plan to shake up rail funding could see roads lose out to rail. The rail system will now be paid for out of the Land Transport Fund, which is predominantly made up of fuel taxes and road user charges. The chief executive of the Road Transport Forum Nick Leggett speaks to Emma Hatton.
