Patient advocate 'physically ill' at child cancer drug changes

A patient advocate says he felt physically ill when he heard Pharmac was thinking of ending blanket funding for kids' cancer drugs. At the moment, the drug funding agency will pay for any medicine a child cancer patient's doctor prescribes. But Pharmac's chief executive Sarah Fitt says no decision has been made.
