Perth travel could resume shortly with Covid lockdown now over

The Government will today announce whether travel can resume between New Zealand and Perth, following a 72-hour lockdown in the Australian city. Perth went into a short lockdown on Friday after a Covid-19 cluster was identified at a quarantine hotel - that was lifted last night. A pause was put on travel between Aotearoa and the Western Australian city -- an announcement on that is expected shortly. Dr Siouxsie Wiles is an expert in infectious diseases.
