Diverse trading arrangements crucial, says Foreign Minister

From Midday Report, 12:45 pm on 19 April 2021

The Foreign Affairs Minister Nanaia Mahuta is urging New Zealand to diversify its trade arrangements and not put all its eggs in one basket with China. She has also raised concerns about loan arrangements between China and other Pacific Nations. The comments were made in a key note speech at the New Zealand China Council's meeting in Wellington this morning. Political reporter Charlie Dreaver was there and tells Meriana Johnsen about the Minister's speech.
