A border worker who recently tested positive for Covid-19 was not tested for several months, despite a requirement to be tested every two weeks. The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment chief executive Carolyn Tremain told a health select committee this morning there were inconsistencies in the testing records and her officials were still checking the data.
