Prof Baker: only the most serious outbreaks will stop travel

A top epidemiologist says only the most serious of Covid-19 outbreaks will put a pause on trans-Tasman travel. Cabinet is meeting right now to finalise the date this two-way bubble will open, and Jacinda Ardern will announce the decision at 4 o'clock today. RNZ understands there are some senior members of the Australian government who want the bubble open as early as the end of this week - while the National Party here wants travel underway immediately. Max Towle speaks to Professor Michael Baker about getting trans-Tasman travel going again.
