Auckland Port put profits over safety, says Phil Goff

Ports of Auckland has been putting profits - money - over the safety of its workers. That's according to the city's mayor. A review by Construction Health and Safety New Zealand found systemic health and safety failings. Ports of Auckland says it fully supports the report's recommendations - and is moving to address shortcomings in safety processes and culture.
