An incident in which a man jumped onto the Trentham Race track in the middle of a race has been described by the judge as "a moment of complete alcohol-fuelled madness".
Justin Bergman​​, who's 24, pleaded guilty to charges of criminal nuisance and unlawfully disrupting a meeting in a public place over the incident on Wellington Cup Day in January, in which he jumped three fences to get onto the racetrack.
