A Māori university students association leader in Auckland says the government has been too general in its Covid-19 messaging and they are having to take matters into their own hands to ensure their tauira are informed.

The government has been criticised for failing to reach the country's more diverse communities - especially young people.
Mihiterina Williams no Te Whakatōhea - is the co-tumuaki of Auckland University's Māori Student Association and told Māni Dunlop the government has missed the mark when it comes to reaching some rangatahi.
