Tourism Industry Aotearoa is welcoming an inquiry by the Auditor-General into a controversial tourism fund.
The Strategic Tourism Assets Protection Programme was part of the government's $400-million Covid tourism fund.
It has come under increased scrutiny with concerns raised about the transparency and clarity of the programme.
