There's doubt over whether Dunedin councillors will front up to a public meeting in Waikouaiti tonight, which is being held to disuss high levels of lead in the local water supply.
One test showed lead levels 40 times higher than the acceptable limit The Southern DHB and a medical toxicologist will address the meeting, and residents also want Council representatives to front.
Local authorities are still investigating the cause of the contamination, which was first picked up in August.
Emma Hatton spoke to Ian Shaw, a professor of Toxicology at Canterbury University.
