WHO issues new advice on daily exercise

From Midday Report, 12:45 pm on 26 November 2020

The World Health Organisation has updated its decade-old advice on how much exercise we need to do to stay healthy. The WHO says adults should break a moderate sweat for 150 to 300 minutes a week, or 21 to 42 minutes a day. It also now suggests all people limit the amount of time they spend seated. Dr Meredith Peddie is from the Department of Human Nutrition at the University of Otago.
