Supermarkets will face fresh scrutiny under a sweeping investigation into whether New Zealanders are getting ripped-off at the checkout. The Government has ordered the Commerce Commission to conduct a year-long inquiry into grocery prices. Consumer New Zealand has been campaigning for an investigation into the supermarket sector, and its chief executive, Jon Duffy, spoke with Māni Dunlop.
