Wellington restaurant says risk of Covid transmmission is low

From Midday Report, 12:11 pm on 9 November 2020

Wellington restaurant Little Penang says it has deep cleaned the store twice since a Defence Force worker - who later tested positive for Covid-19 - visited their location on The Terrace while potentially contagious.

They are one of two people identified as part of what the Ministry of Health describes as the November quarantine cluster, with another Defence Force quarantine worker at Auckland's Jet Park facility testing positive for the virus on Friday

A hostel at Ōtorohanga College in Waikato has also been closed as a precaution that it might too be linked to the cluster.

RNZ's reporter, Catherine Hutton, spoke to Māni Dunlop from outside Little Penang on The Terrace.
