A satellite built and operated by students at the University of Auckland will be launched into space later this month.
Waka Āmiorangi Aotearoa APSS-1 is the first New Zealand satellite to be built by students.
It's one of a handful of experimental modules that will be launched by Rocket Lab from its facility on the Mahia Peninsula.
The Rocket Lab chief executive, Peter Beck, spoke to Māni Dunlop.
