Covid card trial finally set to get underway in Rotorua

Following months of delays and contro-versy, the government has today launched a community-based trial of a Bluetooth-enabled Covid card for contact-tracing.

The trial will take place in Rotorua, with participants wanting to be involved able to sign up from tomorrow for the pilot programme, which will run for one week from November 9th.

RNZ reporter, Andrew McRae was at the launch event and spoke to Te Aniwa Hurihanganui.
