Students at MIT Manukau are getting into the election spirit on campus today with food, music and conversation to encourage young people to vote.
The event is part of their 'Devoted' campaign to improve participation in the local student and national election.
MIT's Student Voice Co-ordinator, Aayla Peebles, spoke to Māni Dunlop from the event.
