SkyCity Centre fire 'too complex' for on-site commanders

Australian investigators say the massive fire that burned for 10 days at the SkyCity International Convention Centre last year, became too complex for the on-scene commanders.

That's among the points in a new independent review on the blaze, which started accidentally in Auckland's central city.

The centre was under construction at the time and at the fire's peak, there were 30 engines and 150 firefighters on site.

RNZ's reporter, Katie Todd, has been reading the report and spoke to Māni Dunlop.
