There's disappointement among the rugby community that next year's Super Rugby competition won't include a Pasifika rugby franchise.
New Zealand Rugby confirmed last night the 2021 competition would run with just the same five New Zealand teams as this year.
Its chair, Brent Impey, says none of the Pacific team bids were both competitive on the field and financially sustainable off the field.
