CCTV footage shows a man who was found with a gunshot wound this morning in central Auckland had earlier been dropped off by a car.

The man is now in hospital in a stable condition.
RNZ's reporter, Jordan Bond, spoke to Te Aniwa Hurihanganui from outside St Patrick's Cathedral on Wyndham Street, where the wounded man was found.
