Aucklanders returning to the city arrived to a new normal today - with vast numbers of people donning masks and face coverings.
They're now compulsory on public transport, while schools and businesses have reopened.
RNZ reporter, Anneke Smith. has been out and about since early this morning and spoke to Te Aniwa Hurihanganui from Queen Street.
