Government ramps up security at isolation hotels

The government has announced plans for upgraded security at isolation hotels. Enhanced CCTV capabilities will feature a thermal imaging system which would trigger an alarm if a returnee broke out. The $6 million rollout would include a pilot of the COVID card for staff inside a managed isolation facility. The Minister of Managed Isolation and Quarantine Facilities Megan Woods speaks to Māni Dunlop.
