Businesses concerned about Auckland's Covid-19 checkpoints
A business group is concerned about the delays for essential workers being slowed down or refused at Auckland's Covid-19 checkpoints. The EMA, which represents about 5,500 employers north of Taupo, says it has heard of dairy workers being turned away and a farmer unable to check on calving cows at a second property. The EMA's head of advocacy and strategy Alan McDonald told Mani Dunlop about 80-percent of the calls they are getting are about the checkpoints.
